Dental Negligence A Common Issue In Indians.

Many People in India are guilty of dental negligence, often delaying regular dental check ups and putting off problem teeth until the discomfort is unbearable . Unfortunately, this can lead to more severe issues such as chronic dental infections, dental abscess, swelling in face and other worse dental problems.

The truth is that by avoiding a visit to dentist, we are only making matters worse for ourselves. Even if over-the-counter painkiller medications are available, theses will not address the root cause of problem. The painkillers will only block the pain and will not address the main reason behind the pain and this will only mask the symptoms our body is showing . This will again worsen the dental issue because the underlying bacteria’s and microbes will keep on multiplying as the root cause was not treated in priority basis. In future the dental disease will get projected in a more intense way causing more damage than before. This might add up to one facing more serious dental issues like extreme pain, swelling, disfigurement of face , absecess, tooth getting loose, infection spreading to adjacent healthy teeth/bone or more such issues . It is essential that we take our dental health seriously and regularly visit a dentist for preventive care. Doing so can help us avoid long-term pain and complications, it can also help reduce the cost of treatment in long run. A dentist can help identify any potential issues and take steps to address them before they become more serious. Moreover, a professional will also be able to provide advice on how to best maintain your oral health.

Ultimately it is important to recognise that taking care of your teeth is not something you should fear or dread. it is essential part of living a healthy life. Regular visits to the dentist are the best way to ensure your long/term oral health and hygiene.

Had this well educated and responsible patient visited his/her dentist, they would have definitely avoided the situation faced after their negligence.

Or is it that you only need to see your dentist if you come across some black hole or discolouration on your teeth? definitely not there are so many more dental diseases that could be diagnosed in very early stage and can help patient from suffering great looses both health wise and monetarily.
